Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often called Rihanna by Barbadians, is an artist and singer. Her hits comprise Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. In her prime, Rihanna has emerged as one of music's most popular performers. Her parents hail born in Barbados and she began singing in the early years of her life. She was disturbed by the chaos in her family, and by the frequent disputes among her parents. Therefore, she decided to become a music lover. When she was still in high school she was a part of a band group and was asked to sing with Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the ability of this girl. He asked the girl to move into New York in order to pursue a full-time career as a singer which she gladly did. Rihanna became an instant hit when her debut album hit the shelves. She was a favorite amongst the youth for her peppy and foot-tapping songs. The result was Rihanna pursuing directing. She is a young, skilled woman that has grown into a style icon and a teen icon. Rihanna makes use of her fame to do charity and regularly contributes to various organizations.
