Awkwafina
American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous songs that dealt with sexuality and racial identities with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to broadening her presence to Hollywood. Her name is Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean parents who immigrated to Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came with the trumpet. She also received the classical and jazz education later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. While in college, she remained focused on her studies and majored in women's journalism and the arts. for a brief amount that was spent in Beijing and she also took classes in Mandarin. When she graduated, she started to focus on music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success through the Internet eventually landing on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. Other hits on the internet that were viral include Queef track and the equally winking NYC Bitchethe hometown tour for $. This track was also used in Awkwafina's NYC tour guide that was released in 2015. With musician and author in her portfolio, she decided to began looking for acting in a third project. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films such as Neighbors in Storks.
