Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's cuisine is a means to get inside her world. Her food elicits a curiosity that developed from stepping beyond the outskirts of Long Island and into the multicultural environment in Los Angeles. Carnitas, Cavatelli and other dishes can all coexist on one menu. This is a constantly evolving taste. All of her dishes have a common idea, which is to embrace the current while reminiscing fondly on the old. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013, and it was very well received. Her creative independence would be fostered with this partnership. The goal of Black Market is not to be restricted by any means. It could start with chips of dill potato, shishito chilies and then go on to an Korean food item called meatballs, and wings. Antonia's distinctive flavors form the foundation of these bold combination. Lofaso measures her success over the course of her career based on her natural ability to understand her audience and be true to her personality. Lofaso has teamed up with Penguin to publish The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for Quick Delicious homemade Meals in the year 2012.
